Audio Restoration - Analog or Digital!

Providing successful audio restoration and transfers since 2006!

What We Do

Many artists and musicians have classic reel-to-reel and cassette tapes languishing in storage, deteriorating over time. Often, the equipment needed to play these tapes is no longer available in mainstream markets or is nearly impossible to find and maintain. The same challenge exists for DAW sessions from the 1990s onward, where outdated operating systems and computers make it seem like the music is lost forever.

At Beach Road, we’ve been collecting a wide range of analog and digital equipment since the early 1990s. Maintaining and supporting these formats is no easy task and requires a deep dedication to the craft of restoration and transfer. No one in North America offers access to as many analog and digital formats as we do. Whether it’s analog tape, digital tape, or classic DAW sessions, we’ve got you covered!

  • Analog or Digital Tape Formats

Analog and digital audio formats as well as many video cassette formats of yesteryear.

  • Various Formats and Tape Speeds

We can transfer 1/4, 1/2", 1" and 2" formats at various speeds and track configurations - 2 track, 4 track, 8 track, 16 track and 24 track.

  • Vintage Sonic Beasts

Each machine has its own unique sonic signature. By using equipment from different eras, we can select the one that best complements your transfer, ensuring optimal sound quality.

  • Tape Baking

Analog tapes from the 1970s to the 1990s often suffer from Sticky Shed Syndrome and require meticulous handling to ensure successful retrieval. Our precise and reliable baking process guarantees optimal results.

  • Consumer Multitrack Formats

Tascam, Fostex, Yamaha, and others pioneered the consumer multitrack format for musicians. We can recover recordings from both analog cassettes and a range of digital formats used by these iconic machines.
